Ben Bogen stars in Signature Theatre’s acclaimed production of Pippin, Stephen Schwartz’s celebrated musical masterpiece of purpose, ambition, lust, and glory. Pippin follows the journey of the restless young heir to Charlemagne as he searches for meaning, fulfillment, and an extraordinary life. Guided by a mysterious troupe of performers, Pippin pursues glory through war, passion, power, and adventure, only to discover that the answers he seeks may lie somewhere entirely unexpected. Featuring some of musical theatre’s most beloved songs, including Corner of the Sky, Magic to Do, and Morning Glow, the production remains as relevant and powerful today as when it first premiered on Broadway.

Ben appears as one of the production’s Players, the charismatic ensemble that serves as both narrator and participant throughout Pippin’s journey. The Players bring the story to life through dynamic movement, storytelling, and theatrical spectacle, guiding audiences through a dazzling coming-of-age tale filled with humour, heart, and reflection.

With music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell) and a book by Roger O. Hirson, Pippin is widely regarded as one of the defining musicals of the modern era.
